THE PEOPLE OF POOLE 2015 PHOTOMOSAIC
PRIZE DRAW WINNERS

During July, August and September 2015 we offered those taking part in the photo mosaic project the opportunity to win a fantastic new Sony Cyber-Shot H300 ‘bridge’ camera. We had three to give away, generously donated by Tesco Branksome, and at the end of each month we picked an email address from our database of the month’s users.
Lotteries and the Law (Gambling Act 2005)
The competition qualified as a ‘Society Lottery’ for which Licence No LO4/330 has been issued under the Gambling Act 2005.
Society lotteries are lotteries promoted for the benefit of a non-commercial society, i.e. it is a lottery run for charitable purposes rather than for private gain, and it supports a cultural activity.
Ticket information
- The promoter and licence holder of this Society Lottery is the Poole Park Heritage Group (PPHG) whose principal office is 167 Sandbanks Road, Poole, BHI4 8EJ.
- Tickets cost £5 each based on the price of a single photo upload; email addresses for uploads of 3 photos for £10 were entered twice in to the lottery.

JULY - TERESA WOOLRIDGE
Sunday, 2nd August, the Mayor of Poole, Councillor Ann Stribley, randomly picked July’s winner from a hat filled with the names of those who had uploaded photos to the project that month.
The winner was Wimborne resident, Teresa Woolridge: “As a keen photographer it was a complete bonus to win a camera, as a former resident of Poole I absolutely adore the park and enjoy visiting with my two young grandchildren.”
“The camera is so lightweight compared to my old model, so I will be able to take it with me on trips to the park and take more great pictures to add to over 17,000 of my photos that I have collected on my computer.”
